Participating in the worship service is an honor and privilege. There are many opportunities for our members to participate.
USHER – Men and women, along with our confirmation students, are given the opportunity to be part of the service through ushering and greeting. A rotating schedule is created to accommodate the availability of ushers.
ALTAR GUILD assists in the preparation of the altar for services, including set-up for communion. Throughout the church calendar year, special preparations are made to the altar to reflect the focus of the worship service. On a monthly rotation schedule, a team of individuals share in this very special role.
READERS – On a weekly rotating schedule, members volunteer to read the Old Testament and Epistle lessons for the congregation-. Scripture for each week is provided ahead of time to allow readers the opportunity to prepare.
